Built by an operator. Not a consultant.
Twenty years building sales teams across Europe. Now building the Callaborade Network, training Africa’s most ambitious people to become world-class international sales executives.
I didn’t start in sales. I started as an Industriekaufmann apprentice at Duni, then spent years in operations and solar energy at Bosch. When I finally moved into sales at Berlin and Amsterdam startups like Sensorfact, something clicked. Twenty years later, I’ve hired operators, fired operators, built CRMs, broken CRMs, and learned that sales works when the system is right. It fails when it’s not.
A few years ago I moved to Ghana, partly to study, partly to see a part of the world I didn’t know. What I found surprised me: sharp, hungry, capable people everywhere, and almost none of them with a real shot at the kind of international career I’d spent two decades building for myself. Companies try agencies, they try tools, they try local hires. Nobody trains the people who could actually do the job well.
That’s the gap Callaborade fills. Real training in international sales, built from two decades of doing it myself. And a real door into a career for the people who put in the work.
Three things that don’t change.
Execution over advice
We don’t lecture and disappear. We coach the real work, stay in the feedback every week, and watch what actually improves. Skill happens when someone owns the outcome. Not when someone just advises on it.
Transparency over black boxes
You always know exactly where you stand: what’s working, what needs work, and what’s next. No mystery scoring. No vague feedback. Just what actually moves you forward.
Systems over heroics
One talented person is fragile. A properly built training system compounds. Everything we teach is documented, repeatable, and works whether or not any one person is in the room.
